Checklist Template

In ActivePager you can create, manage, and share Checklists using Checklist Templates. Templates allow quick completion by scanning a QR Code.

Note: The Checklist Management permission is required to create or edit Checklist Templates, while completing checklists is open to all system users.

Creating a Checklist Template

To create a new Checklist Template:

  1. Go to the Checklist Templates section and click the + Create button.
  2. Fill in the required fields:
  • Name (required): enter the template name.
  • Managers: you can select one or more people responsible for the checklist.
  • Linked to: you can associate the template with a vehicle.
  • Always notify managers: if enabled, managers receive a notification each time the checklist is completed.
  • Attach PDF to email: if enabled, a summary PDF of the checklist will be sent automatically to managers.
  1. Add items to the template by clicking + Add:
  • Define the field name.
  • Choose the Type: Check if it is a selectable item, Separator if it is a non-clickable section title (e.g., Yellow bag).
  • Specify the number of items and any expirations.
  1. Click Save to confirm the new template.

Importing a Checklist Template

  1. Click the Import button.
  2. Download the CSV template and fill it in following the instructions:
  • The first row with headers must not be modified.
  • The file cannot contain empty rows.
  1. Upload the completed CSV file, enter the name, managers, and settings.
  2. Click Import to complete the process.

Duplicating a Checklist Template

  1. Click Duplicate.
  2. Choose the template to duplicate.
  3. Enter the new name, managers, and configure any settings.
  4. Click Duplicate to create the copy.

Managing Checklist Templates

Each Checklist Template has advanced options:

  • QR Code: generates a QR code to quickly start checklist completion from mobile.
  • Duplicate, Export, Delete: available under Settings to quickly manage existing templates.
