The "Vehicles" section of ActivePager is designed to provide complete and detailed control of the organization’s fleet. This section is essential for efficiently managing vehicles used in emergency and support operations.
Access and subsections
Access to the "Vehicles" section is possible through the main ActivePager panel. Within this section, you can navigate the following subsections:
- Vehicles: View and manage the vehicle list.
- Refueling: Monitor and manage vehicle refueling.
- Mileage Log: Record and review kilometers traveled.
- Maintenance: Plan and track vehicle maintenance.
- Expirations: Check important vehicle expirations (e.g., insurance, inspection).
Vehicles subsection
Features
The "Vehicles" subsection allows you to:
- View the vehicle list: shows all vehicles owned by the organization.
- Use search filters: filter vehicles by category (e.g., ambulances, fire vehicles) or current status (operational, in maintenance, out of service).
- Manage vehicles: with the "Manage Vehicles" permission, you can add new vehicles to the list.
Creating a new vehicle
To add a new vehicle:
- Select the "Add" option.
- Fill in the required details in the form (e.g., make, model, plate, status).
- Save the information to add the vehicle to the list.
Required permissions
To access advanced features such as creating or editing vehicle information, you must have the "Manage Vehicles" permission.
