The Address Book lets you store, manage, and consult contacts in ActivePager. All users can view contacts on app and web, while add/edit/delete operations are reserved for users with the Contact Management permission.
Viewing the address book
- The address book shows the list of registered contacts with name, phone, email, address, and notes.
- You can use the search field to filter contacts by name, address, or notes.
- All users have access to view contacts, both in the app and on the web.
Contact management
To add, edit, or delete a contact you need the “Contact Management” permission.
Adding contacts
- Click “Add” in the top right.
- Fill in the available fields:
- Name (required)
- Phone
- Second Phone
- Second Email
- Address
- Notes
- Click “Add” to save the contact.
Editing a contact
- Find the desired contact in the list.
- Click “Edit” next to the contact.
- Make the necessary changes in the available fields.
- Click “Save” to update the data.
Deleting a contact
- Find the contact to remove.
- Click “Delete”.
- Confirm the operation in the dialog window.
- The contact will be permanently removed from the address book.
Exporting the address book
Authorized users can export the contact list for external use:
- Click “Export” in the top right.
- The generated file will be available in a format compatible with Excel or other data management tools.
Security and permissions
✅ All users can view contacts.
✅ Only users with the “Contact Management” permission can add, edit, or delete a contact.
✅ Address book export is available only to authorized users.
