Viewing hydrant information

To view information about a hydrant, simply click directly on its icon on the map. A pop-up window will automatically appear with all main information, such as owner, identification number, thread type, general type, any photos, and the current status of the hydrant.

Hydrant icons automatically change depending on their status:

  • Gray icon: indicates that the hydrant type and status are unknown.
  • Icon with white downward arrow: the hydrant is located below ground level.
  • Red icon without arrow: the hydrant is located above ground level.

When the hydrant is not gray, a colored dot appears next to the icon (with or without an arrow) indicating status:

  • 🟢 Green dot: hydrant functioning (OK status).
  • 🟡 Yellow dot: hydrant status to be checked.
  • 🔴 Red dot: hydrant out of order.

Editing hydrants

To edit a hydrant you need the relevant edit permission. Before proceeding, verify that your organization’s territorial competencies have been entered and validated and that the hydrant you want to edit is within those competencies. Editing can be done conveniently from both the app and the web portal by selecting the desired hydrant.

Deleting hydrants

To delete a hydrant you need the dedicated delete permission. Before proceeding, make sure your organization’s territorial competencies have been entered and validated and that the hydrant to be deleted is located within those competencies.
