Territorial competencies

To add your organization’s territorial competencies, you must clearly define the geographic boundaries of the territory of responsibility. To do this you must have administrator permissions or system settings edit permissions.

Adding territorial competencies

To add competencies follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the ActivePager portal and open the “Settings” menu item.
  2. Open the “Competencies” tab.
  3. In another browser tab, open https://geojson.io.

Draw the territorial boundaries:

  • Use the tools available on the map (indicated by red arrows in the images) to trace the perimeter of the territory.
  • You can draw a polygonal area that precisely encloses the territory managed by your organization. It is important to use a polygon and not a line. When the drawing is complete, click the starting point.

Generate and copy the GeoJSON code:

  • Once the polygon is completed, the site will automatically generate the corresponding GeoJSON code.
  • Copy the generated code in full.

Enter the data in the portal:

  • Return to the territorial competencies page.
  • Paste the GeoJSON code into the “Boundaries” field.
  • After entering the GeoJSON code, click the “Add” button at the bottom of the page to submit the request.

Final note

The entered territorial competencies will not be active immediately. They will first undergo verification and must be confirmed by a system administrator before becoming operational.
