The Shift Creation feature in ActivePager lets you configure and plan operational shifts based on different needs. The creation screen is divided into sections to organize data clearly and intuitively.
General data
This section includes basic information about the shift:
- Template: select a predefined template (optional).
- Name (required): indicates the shift name (e.g., “Night shift”).
- Location: specifies the geographic location associated with the shift (optional).
Date and repetition
Here you define shift timing:
- Start date (required): indicates the start date and time of the shift.
- End date (required): indicates the end date and time of the shift.
- Repeat: allows you to configure any repetition of the shift (e.g., daily, weekly). The default option is No.
Shift settings
Additional options to customize the shift:
- Allow users to enroll in the shift:
- Yes: users can self-register for the shift.
- No: only administrators can assign users.
- Partial sign-ups/changes: allows splitting the shift among multiple users.
- Enable shift booking mode: allows using a specific booking mode.
- Limit participation to operational users:
- Yes: restricts access to the shift to certain operational roles.
- No: everyone can participate.
- Minimum and maximum users: specifies the minimum and maximum number of required participants.
Staff
Human resources management:
- Team: allows assigning a predefined group of users to the shift.
Vehicle
Logistics resources management:
- Assigned vehicle: allows associating a specific vehicle with the shift (optional).
Info
Additional information:
- Notes: free field to enter details or instructions related to the shift.
- Attachments: ability to upload useful files, such as documents or images.
Final actions
Save as draft: allows you to save the shift without publishing it, keeping it in review.
